With this part of the trail towards the north you follow the long cycle route, the Kustroute ("Coast Trail"), to Zandvoort. Cycle route starting from Benoordenhout, on the edge of The Hague. From here you cycle directly into nature, over the edge of Landgoed Oosterbeek right through Meijendel, where the dune areas are filled with forests and water. You then cross Wassenaar and Voorschoten, after which you drive around the lakes of Vlietland. The route takes you back to The Hague past several estates and the De Horsten area.

There are 2 pole walks through Landgoed Clingendael. The yellow one is the longest and most extensive official walk. The special estate is a mix of styles, plants and trees, of which you get to see a lot with this route. The route leads through the Sterrenbos and the Phezantenbos, along the anti-tank ditch to the Duinbos. Then you walk to the center of the estate, past the historic buildings and the Old Dutch garden. You also pass through the Rosarium, past the gatehouse and the old farm.
