Riverview-Irongate-Firelane Loop: shortly after starting you are scrambling up a hill on a steep shale washout deer trail. Iron Gate makes for a better biking trail with it’s steep embankments put in for mountain bikers, but still hikeable and good for rough trail runners. Some portions of the route are semi paved or graveled, but overall the route is a steep dirt path that is challenging, especially in wet conditions.
