These trails begin behind Colchester High School and are widely used to students and staff. The loop is flat and winds through the forest, this is a good loop for kids and pets. This is a great place to walk around during the fall when Vermont's famous foliage is at its peak and the forest is filled with color.

This paved trail is multi-use and starts from Hollow Creek Drive heading to Bayview Drive and back. Accessibility: There do not appear to be any designated accessible spaces at the northeast end of the trail. The nearest designated accessible parking is off of Creek Farm Road, marked with a waypoint. All of the spots there are van-accessible with striped access aisles. The Village Park trails can be accessed off Route 2A/Main Street behind the Colchester Meeting House and behind the Fire District building. The trail passes through the woods, across a power line cut, and near Indian Brook at points. Hunting is not permitted, so this is a nice place to walk around in the fall.

This flat loop along the Winooski River circles the Ethan Allen Homestead and passes the site of the Black Snake Affair. The Black Snake Affair was an incident where a Vermont militia engaged a smuggling ship, The Black Snake, in a gunboat fight on the Winooski River.
