Even if the length of the path is short, the way up to the Hamilton Falls is a considerably steep ascend. Be ready for a climb with proper elevation, but that doesn't last long. The falls are very pretty when frozen as well as during summer. They are not the most majestic falls, but they are beautiful nonetheless. You can start from the Emerald Lake Parking, and the views there are really nice. There are plenty of longer hikes around, and places to camp or logde.
