Bicycle tour from Sterrenwijk to Sterrenwijk; from the Orionstraat in Asten (North Brabant) to the Orionstraat in Utrecht. Shortest route. An experienced cyclist needs 4 to 5 hours and does not have to leave before 4:30 because the ferry at Wamel only starts operating at 7 am. Do you want to leave earlier, eg at 3.45 am? This is possible because the ferry at Oijen goes into service at 6:00 and you can then avoid the ferry at Wamel by detouring a bit via the Willem Alexander Bridge. Wonderful...

The Astense Aa is a 20 kilometer long river, which is almost completely canalised. Except for this part that you walk around with this trail. Here the river still meanders through nature, as it originally did. On this stretch, the Astense Aa is also surrounded by the nature reserve of the same name, where wild herbs, various trees and birds have found their home. This creates a beautiful natural environment where you can enjoy a peaceful walk.
