This trail is completely paved and heads along the Mission Bay coast. There are several beaches and places to park along the route. Dogs are allowed on beaches after 6 p.m. from April 1 to Oct. 31 or after 4 p.m. from Nov. 1 to March 31. A relatively flat, easy to walk trail with a few steep inclines (as long as you keep to the west) with a few creek crossings after rains toward Genesee.
