Istro - Faneromeni Monastery (Ίστρο - Μονή Φανερωμένης) The route starts from the main road, east of Istro village and goes southwest, following the provincial road to the Monastery of Faneromeni. The route passes through olive groves and forested hills, to reach its last part on a good path to the country road and the Monastery. The view of the Cretan Sea and the province of Ierapetra is wonderful. The return from the same road.
