A beautiful hike on the Costa Smeralda, North-East of Sardinia, to reach Capo Ferro and its lighthouse. It is advisable to do this route all year round except in the summer because, during this period, the Costa Smeralda is usually very crowded. Furthermore, there are no shade points along the trail, so it is very hot in the summer.

The route starts from the parking lot of the Grand Hotel near the Carla Granu beach and then reaches the town square where it is easy to find movie or television stars doing some shopping. Porto Cervo in winter has a few hundred residents but in summer it becomes a destination for celebrities and movie stars.
