This urban hike starts from Place Paul Doumer, in Chartrons. The route passes by the Marché des quais and the many shops and restaurants along the quays, Cap Sciences, the Cité du Vin, the Musée Mer Marine, and the Quai Lawton, among others, before returning to the starting point. The GR® Bordeaux Métropole is a marked route that goes around the city of Bordeaux over 160 km passing through 17 municipalities, thus connecting the main green spaces of the agglomeration. It became the first metropolitan GR® in France in 2020, crowned by the French Hiking Federation. Before being a GR®, it was a discovery circuit of the Bordeaux conurbation.

This hike starts at Place du Champ de Mars and is located in the Jardin Public. The route passes, among other places, by the Monument of Jean Fernand Lafargue, the Botanical Garden of the Public Garden and by the sculptures of Léon Valade, François Mauriac, Carle Vernet, Jeunesse and Chimère.
