This bikeway is a wide path divided into two lanes and provides a secure, separate route for cyclists and walkers. It runs parallel to the motorway weaving above, below and around it via bridges, tunnels and underpasses. The trails are mostly paved and there are lots of them branching off through the gardens. You can easily adjust the length of your walk. A great circuit trail right in the heart of Brisbane city, Queensland. Super easy to access, pretty flat the whole way, and roughly fifty percent shade. The route is a return trip from Orleigh Park in West End. The trail follows the Brisbane River along a combination of bicycle-ways and shared multi-use paths and can be joined from numerous points, with many variations that can be taken too.

Mahogany Track is a family friendly trail that explores part of Mount Coot-tha Reserve just a short distance from Brisbane's city centre. The track follows a steady incline to the summit of Mount Coot-tha, where a short detour will take you to some fantastic viewpoints.
