This hike starts near the "Centre de formation du Lac" bus stop and the Parc Denis et Eugène Bülher, in Bordeaux Lac. The route passes, among other things, by the Plage du Lac and circles the lake by taking the pedestrian and cycling footbridge. The Lake of Bordeaux was previously a swamp. Dried up in the 1960s, it now offers many urban leisure activities, including the Plage du Lac, which has been open to the public since 1990.
