This is a very pleasant route on the rolling hills of Marsciano with alternating woods, villages, fortifications and cultivated countryside. The trail almost always follows the Nestor River with plenty of opportunities to stop by the water. Information boards along the way offer information on the animals and plants found in the area. The route can be accessed from Mercatello, Sant'Apollinare, Pieve Caina or Castiglione della Valle.

A nice walk to reach the Borghetto di Prepo starting from the parking lot at the Church of Santa Maria di Prepo. The route begins by passing through a small garden with some panoramic points, then descending to Borghetto and arriving as far as the Provincial Road of Pila and then returning to the starting point following the same route.
