Bocaue Peak is known as the Muffin Peak in Cebu. They call it the muffin peak because it looks a muffin when you are a far from the majestic view of the mountain. It is currently maintained by the local government unit and no fees required when you do the trek in this area. Wear protective gear/sleeves to avoid scratches from the wild plants along the way.

This trail usually starts near the statues located in Good Shepherd, Banawa. Along the way, you will witness wildflowers and huge trees that are unusual. You will also need to traverse a river/creek on the way to Pamutan. The best part on this trail is when you reach the part at the summit where you will witness the Cebu Skyline. Don't forget to wear proper hiking attire like long sleeves and comfortable spiky shoes for trekking.

Also, when you do this one, you're not only doing 6 Towers, but also the Spartan Trail. If you want to make a stop halfway, you can enjoy the Buhisan Watershed Forest Reserve, or a small pool found near the water reserve. This trail ends near Banawa where you can dine in to some local restaurants and fast food chains.
