Fantastic hike to the local mountain of Corvara, the Sassongher (2665m). Easy ascent, with a climbing part in the final part of the trail, but not very demanding. The view towards the Marmolada and the Sella Group is simply stunning. Starting from Colfosco, take path 4A up to the crossroads with path 7 which continues up to the summit of the mountain.

This route in the Puez Odle Nature Park consists of a climb to Sassongher (2665 m) from Colfosco | Kolfuschg, with a return from Verda along the Gran Ega river. Not to be underestimated and it is advisable to do it on a sunny day to enjoy the beautiful panorama from the Sassongher. This spectacular route leads to the Puez Group and the Gherdenaccia Alpine Plateau, with rock formations reminiscent of a lunar landscape. It starts in Colfosco at the valley station of the Col Pradat cable car. Path n°4A leads in a gradual ascent beyond the Furcela de Ciampëi (2366m) and then to the Puez Refuge (2475m). This demanding route leads onto the high mountains at almost 3000 meters on the ridge that goes from Sass da Ciampac (2667m) to the Forcella Cir (2469m) via the Jëuf de Crespëina (2528m). It begins by the valley station Col Pradat in Colfosco and for the first kilometers it leads on a ski slope. From the top station of the Stella Alpina chairlift, the path is rocky until it reaches the Jimmi Hut. Then the last 4 kilometers are gradually downhill between beautiful pastures and woods.
