This route on the Vermeille coast, starting from Collioure, in the Pyrénées-Orientales, leads hikers to the village of Argelès-Plage. After crossing Rue du Mirador and Rue du Pla de las Fourques, hikers join the path by the sea. The route runs along the indented coast and offers a magnificent panorama of the Gulf of Lion. In Argelès, you can enjoy a pleasant swim on its very beautiful beach.

This panoramic circuit starts from the very pretty town of Collioure, and takes you to the seaside resort of Banyuls-sur-Mer, inland. Along the way, you will pass by the Col de Taillefer, then the Tour Madeloc. This former guard tower dominates Collioure, Port-Vendres and Banyuls-sur-Mer. It was erected to protect the populations from the Moorish raids on the coast. The panorama of the Mediterranean Sea and the indented coast is exceptional.

Hike on the heights of the town of Collioure, which begins by following the course of the Douy River through the vineyards to Mollo Pass. From the pass, you can see the Tour Madeloc, an old guard tower erected to protect the populations from Moorish raids on the coast. The return is via forts Dugommer and Saint-Elme and the Collioure Mill, transformed into an oil mill in 2001.
