Plakias - Damnoni Beach (Πλακιάς - Παραλία Δαμνόνι) This short course connects the beach of Plakias with the neighboring beach in Damnoni. The route follows a good dirt road which runs vertically to the hilly Cape Kakomouri, going from the north side of the cape to the east. Beautiful beaches, rural Cretan landscape, bare hill and sea are uniquely combined in this short course. In summertime, it needs attention due to the strong sun and heat.
