This fantastic circular hike is located in the Naturpark Schlern-Rosengarten | Parco Naturale Sciliar-Catinaccio. It begins in Ums, a small village above Völs am Schlern | Fiè allo Sciliar. The path leads past several farms and through an idyllic forest to the Tschafonleger. Continue on path no. 7 to the Hofer Alpl. Path no. 3 leads back to the starting point. The Knüppelweg | Sentiero dei Tronchi path is also called Prügelweg and consists of numerous wooden sticks of different sizes, in German called Knüppel (or Prügel). These form the 1.5 km medieval wooden foot bridge that leads over a the deep Sciliar gorge. The high and steep the walls of this gorge make this excursion a spectacularly unique experience.

A fantastic circular hike for the whole family directly below the Sciliar massif near Völs am Schlern. The path begins in the small village of Ums and initially leads along leisurely forest paths to the Völser Weiher and the Huber Weiher ponds. Then a gentle ascent to the beautiful Tuffalm Hut (1280 m) begins. Passing the Migg cave, it continues through an idillic forest to the Hofer Alpl Hut (1364 m) and on path no. 3 back to Ums.

From the village center the path leads via Obervöls | Fiè di Sopra to the Moarmühle. The Weisslahn 8 trail continues through the forest to the Malga Hofer Alpl Almhütte on the Pramar meadows.
