A nice rode from Medellin to the Piedra de Guatape. For a relatively short ride, the terrain was very dynamic. There were sections that were curvy, hilly, flat, straight, off-road. muddy, wet, dry. You go up Palmas to Sancho Paisa, then take an alternate road to the tollbooth, arriving at the vereda El Silencio. Then you go up a steep path to take the vereda El Plan and reach the Telecom antennas. You pass through some paddocks to reach the last farm of La Acuarela. The route must be done strictly in this way because there is a porter's lodge, if it is done from below they will not allow you to pass.
