The Plaza Cisneros, better known as Parque de las Luces (which means Park of Lights), has 300 light poles of various colors that illuminate the center of Medellín at night. The square has an interesting history linked to various socio-cultural moments and the light poles were installed as part of an initiative to revitalize the area.
