This hike begins in Morschach in the town center and then slowly leads to the shore of Lake Lucerne via the Dachsenweg road to the Wolfssprung vantage point. Then it goes along a paved road to the local point of interest Axenstein and then along hiking trails around the golf club and right through the cultural landscape. At the edge of the Bödmerenwald forest it then goes back to Morschach to the starting point.

The trail is a route for motivated cyclists, as it covers a fair amount of kilometers. The route begins in Brunnen and follows the shore of Lake Lucerne to Altdorf. Then the path is shortened a bit by taking the Biel-Kinzig cable car from Bürglen to cover some altitude. Then it goes back to the mountain station at about 1600m through the open terrain. It follows afterwards to the Chinzig refuge and the top of the Chinzig Chulm at 2073m. After that the path goes down again down to Muotathal....
