This hike starts in Mulhouse, near the Central Station. The route passes by the Parc du Tivoli, the Square du Reservoir, the Belvedere on the Sentier du Sommet, the Tony Troxler vineyard and the Sacré-Coeur church, among others, before returning to the starting point. This route also passes through the Rebberg district.

The departure is on the Passerelle de l'Ill, west side, near the Maison des berges.
