Kako Mouri Cape (Ακρωτήριο Κακό Μουρί) It is an almost unknown but spectacular hiking trail that leads around the rocky cape of Kako Mouri, close to Plakias settlement. The route starts from the beach of Plakias and heads west and then east, making the circle of the cape, around Paligremnos hill. Plakias - Damnoni Beach (Πλακιάς - Παραλία Δαμνόνι) This short course connects the beach of Plakias with the neighboring beach in Damnoni. The route follows a good dirt road which runs vertically to the hilly Cape Kakomouri, going from the north side of the cape to the east. Beautiful beaches, rural Cretan landscape, bare hill and sea are uniquely combined in this short course. In summertime, it needs attention due to the strong sun and heat.

Plakias - Kalypso - Damnoni (Πλακιάς - Καλυψώ - Δαμνόνι) An interesting route that goes around the hill of Paligremnos at Cape Kakomouri. The course starts from the southern end of the big beach of Plakias and from there it goes west to the edge of the cape, in a observation point to the coastline and the bay of Plakias. The route continues east, along the coast, and returns to the starting point passing through Damnoni.

Stavros Cape Summit - Finikias Creek Loop (Κορυφή Ακρωτηρίου Σταυρός κυκλική - Φοινικιάς Ρέμα) Circular course west of Souda, in southern Crete. The route follows the dirt road which climbs up the western slope of the Finikia creek and reaches Stavros Cape Summit. Wonderful views to the sea and the Souda area on this rocky and barren hill. The path heads along the ridge of the hill, while continuing along the dirt road and descending from the other side, towards the sea near Souda beach.
