The island of Elba is relatively mountainous, but with a little fitness you can take wonderful tours on paved roads and paths in the fields and woods. A good gear ratio and slightly wider tires on the bike are beneficial. Departure from Portoferraio proceed in an anti-clockwise ring.

A bicycle excursion on the Island of Elba, belonging to the Tuscan Archipelago. It starts from Portoferraio, near the port and proceeds to Monte Cafferi and then to Monte Fabbrello. From here, proceed in a loop towards Porto Azzurro and follow the coast until you reach Poggio alla Quercia and Ripe Alte and then continue the tour reaching Capoliveri. Cross the village and then return to the starting point passing through Acquabona and San Giovanni.

A mountain bike route on the Island of Elba, belonging to the Tuscan Archipelago National Park. The route starts from Portoferraio, in the parking lot of the supermarket at the exit of the town and proceeds to Lacona, in the south of the island, near the camping Santa Maria. The round trip takes place partly on the road and partly on paths.

It starts from Acquaviva and proceeds towards the beach of Sansone to then reach the islet of the Nave in front of Capo d'Enfola. From here you go around the island and then return in a loop towards the starting point.
