This course along the water starts from Rennes in Ille-et-Vilaine. The trail begins in Beaulieu near the Étangs des Longs Champs. It then follows the landscaped edges of La Vilaine. It passes near the Bray Viaduct and crosses the Parc de Champagne. It goes around the Étang de Dézerseul where you can observe many birds. This walk goes around the Parc des Gayeulles, the largest park in Rennes. Heavily wooded, it is home to many species of trees and wild animals. The park is punctuated with ponds and is equipped with a fitness trail and a farm for children. It also serves as a leisure center: Golf, swimming pool, ice rink and sports hall.

This large loop goes around the hamlet of Les Gayeulles. You start by crossing the Parx des Gayeulles to the Forêt Adrénaline Rennes. From there, take the Chemin des Louvries to Les Hauts Champs Renauds. The loop then closes with the family gardens of Gayeulles and the family gardens of Pâtis-Tatelin.

Walk in the Parc des Gayeulles, the largest forest park in the city of Rennes, which is also called the "park of the woods". You will find several ponds and clearings in the park. There is also a play area for children, restrooms and plenty of picnic tables. It is not possible to walk with a dog in the park, except in the two spaces reserved for them, avenue des Gayeulles and rue du Professor Maurice Audin.
