A pleasant hike in Alta Badia, starting from the Larjëi farm in San Cassiano and taking path no. 15. The route enters the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park and follows the Via Crucis until it reaches the Sanctuary of Santa Croce where there is also a refuge (2045m). It continues on path 15A by passing Lake Valacia and then arriving at the Valgiarëi farm near the famous Armentara meadows. This is where the Via Crucis begins, which leads to the Santa Croce Sanctuary and the refuge of the same name (2045m). The same path leads back to the starting point. This beautiful themed trail is located on the edge of the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park. It is a short route that is located near San Cassiano and leads to the Rü, Larjëi and Rüdeferia farms. As the name already says, the path winds through a larch forest and therefore especially spectacular in autumn. At the Rüdeferia farm there is a picturesque water mill, which was renovated and is fully functional.

This fantastic route starts from San Cassiano in the Val Badia and leads to the Alpe di Fanes Piccolo where the Lavarella Refuge (2050m) and the Fanes Refuge (2060m) are located. Whoever wishes to stay overnight in one of the two refuges, should book in advance. The terrain is very varied and ranges from idyllic wood paths to narrow rocky mountain paths. The ascent leads through the Val Medesc and over the Forcella de Medesc (2533m) to the Alpe di Fanes Piccolo where the two aforementioned...
