This last segment towards the Adriatic is tough, but you can expect a worthy finish. From the beginning the sea is in sight and you can literally smell it. The path leads from Val Rosandra across the karst beach to the ruins of Socerb castle with beautiful views. Then further on in the Slovenian Osp valley and on a gentle descent through the small village of Tinjan towards the coast. This stage, redesigned from 2021, leads from Italy via Socerb to Slovenia and returns to Italy in Rabuiese....

A demanding route that from the end of the Rosandra Valley (village of Bagnoli, behind the Tourist Center where you can park) follows a steep and well-marked trail, climbs and develops on lower slopes until you reach the Pierbico village (IT). From here you descend the Ospo valley through steep sides and, once you have touched the village of Osp, you go up to the large and flat plateau of Kastelec. Continue west for about 2 km, pass the town of Sogerb and easily reach the Fort of San Servolo...

From the Premuda hut the trail follows Val Rosandra and then climbs Mount Stena. After Bazzoni woods the trail winds around the Padriciano golf course. At Mount Spaccato the trail meets the SS. 202 road and begins to climb again at Mount Calvo where there are a series of specially built viewing points known as vedetta. After vedetta Alice the trail climbs all the way to the Obelisk.

Short loop ride in the suggestive Val Rosandra. The route starts from the Mario Premuda Refuge and crosses the Canal Premuda with some beautiful waterfalls and proceeds counterclockwise. The path runs along the Rosandra River and then crosses the Comici Woods and reaches the Bottazzo village. From here you return to the starting point following the Giordano Cottur cycle path.

From the Premuda hut, the trail goes through Val Rosandra to Draga S. Elia, Pese and the border between Italy and Slovenia. It continues along the border on the Slovene side to Mount Cocusso/Kokoš, and then heads down to Lipica, famous for its magnificent and elegant white horses known as Lipizzani.
