MOOI Apartments Schlieren

This beautiful hiking trail is located in the canton of Zurich and goes along the great Limmat River. The route starts at the station in Schlieren, a municipality in the Dietikon district, and goes to the Killwangen-Spreitenbach station. This municipality is part of the canton of Aargau and belongs to the Baden district. Flat tour with nice views of the river and surrounding areas.

The hike starts at Schlieren at the train station and leads past the settlement into the forest. Through the Altholz forest over small watercourses it is possible to relax wonderfully here. Step by step it climbs towards the panoramic mountain Uetliberg. After about nine kilometers the trail reaches the train station where one is able to relax wonderfully at the vantage point with a view of Lake Zurich. This very beautiful hike is located near Zurich in the canton of Zurich. The trail starts in Schlieren near Urdof and goes through Feldenmoos, Hohenstein, Uetliberg, Balderen, Felsenegg, Buchenegg to the Albi Pass. Follow the planet trail in Balderen and Uetliberg. Beautiful views of Lake Zurich. The route is not technically difficult, but you need stamina to do it.

The first starts with 2 ascents to reach Dietikon. Then the second part is the highlight when it comes from Dietikon to the starting point along the Limmat.

A great route in the north-east of Zurich. It leads through idyllic forests, past the ruins of Alt-Regensberg and along the shore of Lake Chatzensee, past Chraenriet with the two lakes Katzensee and Affoltern. The trail begins and ends at Altstetten train station. A short leisurely round, with beautiful views in the immediate vicinity of Zurich.
