The Treasure Island Beach Trail passes through the beachfront area of Treasure Island, Florida. There is street parking available on Beach Plaza Rd, near the Caprice Resort. From here, take the short boardwalk to access the beach. The further south you travel, the less crowded the area is. The route takes you to the very end of the island, with a boardwalk that overlooks the ocean. There are many opportunities to spot coastal wildlife along the way.

Accessibility: There are 2 designated accessible spaces in the small paved parking lot off of 43rd Street South at the north end of the trail. Both of them are van-accessible with a striped access aisle. The trail surface is paved (with partial railings) and smooth. It is typically 4 to 6 feet wide (with many wider passing spaces). This is a short but scenic loop at the Clam Bayou Park which showcases beautiful coastal green areas right in the Broadwater neighborhood. There is a boat launch access site which is great for kayakers and paddlers to explore the area by water. There are rentals available at the park as well. Tons of coastal birds can be seen around here and it is perfect for nature enthusiasts with kids.

This is a very pretty elevated boardwalk tucked away in the back of Boca Ciega Millennium Park with interpretive signs and an observation tower that provides lovely views across the water. It’s not a long walk but is definitely worth your time if you’re in the area. Bikes are not allowed on the boardwalk.
