This is a great circuit for those looking for some exercise. It's a paved path used by runners, cyclists, and everything in between. You won't find isolation here, but if you're looking for an easy exercise track, this is a nice spot. The Bay Run follows a paved path around much of Iron Cove bay including Leichhardt Park, Rodd Point, Timbrell Park, and Robson Park. A great bush walk located only 15 kilometres from the centre of Sydney, New South Wales. Parking is available at Steel Park where the trail begins - just off Illawarra Road opposite Wharf Street. The trail features a lovely mixture of walking next to the Cooks River and being surrounded by native bushland through various parks and reserves along the way. A great option for dogs on leash.
