Here is a beautiful hike from Baume-les-Dames which will make you discover the heights of the Doubs valley including Mont Dommage located at 569 m altitude and Roche de Chatard located at 455 m. This route will take you mainly through the forest on dirt roads, the Chemin du Canal and forest paths. A beautiful view of the Cusancin and Doubs valley awaits you on the Chemin de la Croix de Châtard which runs along the ridge. The return is along the Cusancin on the Rue des Pipes and the towpath.

This road bike route starts from Baume-les-Dames and runs along the Doubs to Montbéliard. The route follows a towpath and passes from one bank to the other. It also takes you along the Canal du Rhône au Rhin. After 52.9 kilometres, you will cross Le Doubs one last time and set off along L'Allan. You will cross the Parc de la Banane and L'île en mouvement before arriving at the Parc du Près de la Rose in Montbéliard.

This 7.89 kilometer hiking loop is located in the Doubs department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. You will start from Rue des Pipes and Pont des Pipes near the small town of Baume-les Dames. You will follow the river of Le Cusancin in the forest. You will return to the Chemin de Halage along the river Le Doubs.

This hike is near Baume-les-Dames and Pont-les-Moulins in the Doubs. The route in the woods leads you first to the Belvédère Grange-Vuillotey which offers a viewpoint over the small village by the river. The trail follows an unsecured ridge line up to Mont Dommage. The forest covers the ridge but we can see the Doubs valley. The path continues on the ridge and reaches a new belvedere which looks towards Fourbanne.
