The Falls Trail is one of the most popular trails in the park, so an early start is recommended. The Old Bulldozer Trail is blazed red and considered "more difficult" by the park. The Highland Loop is not blazed but easy enough to follow. The first mile and a half or so is pretty steep but there are nice views after that.

This trail is rated in the "easiest" category by the park and it is not marked with blazes. You can view Adams Falls along the trail and groves of very old evergreens. There are interpretive signs along the trail with information about the ecology of the area. Some mud can be expected if it has recently rained.

Ricketts Glen Falls Loop in Ricketts Glen State Park is one of the best hikes in all of Pennsylvania and considered by many to be the single best waterfall hike in the eastern United States. The semi-loop through both Ganoga Glen and Glen Leigh visits 21 named waterfalls, the highest being 94' Ganoga Falls. This trail is in the "Most Difficult" category according to the park website. Start your journey at the bottom of the glens along Highway 118, parking at either the Evergreen Parking Area...

This trail is rated in the "more difficult" category by the park and is blazed with red blazes. The hike begins with a steep climb for about a mile before leveling off. The trail was first established as an access road for bulldozers accessing the park and helping build park infrastructure. The trail is wide and easy to follow.
