This route in the Engadin, a high valley in the canton of Graubünden, offers a lot of variety between parts of the route in the valley through beautiful little villages and other parts of the route that lead up into the mountains. The second half of the route leads through the Parc Ela, the largest nature park in Switzerland. There located is also the beautiful Kesch hut at 2625 meters above sea level.

This great hike is located in the Upper Engadine and runs from Samedan to St. Moritz. The Engadin valley is more than 80 km long and one of the highest inhabited valleys in Europe. The trail is slightly above the valley basin on beautiful mountain roads and trails. Finally, a visit to the beautiful Lej da San Murezzan (Lake St. Moritz) should not be missed.

This is a circular route from Samedan. The route offers extraordinary views and the trail is long and fluid. It starts first from Samedan to St. Moritz via the forest. The slopes are steep, but the environment is very pleasant.

This route is particularly suitable for a bike ride and you follow the well-known route of the Bernina Express train, which connects this valley in serpentine lines and without cogs. The tour begins at the train station in Samedan and then leads along the Staz Forest and past Lago Bianco, a reservoir on the Bernina Pass.
