From here, walk along the stream in a wood and climb up to Monte Donato along via del Paleotto and Via di Jola. It is also possible to visit the Church of Jola to make a stop halfway.

A beautiful circular walk, in the midst of nature, which runs along sections of the St. Anthony's Way. It starts from the village of Ponticella and begins to follow the path proceeding clockwise reaching the Oratory of Madonna dei bosco. The route takes place inside the Parco Gessi Bolognesi, Calanchi dell'Abbadessa.

The trail was well marked. It was generally muddy, but no stretch was impassable and the maximum water crossing was a small stream. It was quiet, although it never felt far from civilization, as it uses country roads and lanes quite frequently (which I liked). Not too crowded. When there is no fog or mist, the view over the fields and hills is a delight. 2 functional water points. We didn't find any bathrooms. More than 3 options for picnic on benches.

This is a simple tour that starts in the city in San Lazzaro and goes up into the hills at La Croara. The path is mostly on a paved road and crosses various urban parks: the Parco dei Cedri, the Carlo Urabani Park, the Belpoggio Park and the Resistance Park. From the Ponticella to Croara the itinerary is instead on the hills and climbs up to 200 meters of altitude.
