This is a pleasant route on the Bolognese hills almost entirely on an asphalted road but with spectacular views. The higher you go, the less traffic there is to ensure an invigorating and satisfying walk. The start is at Porta San Mamolo, a very steep climb up via dell'Osservanza, a flat stretch between Gaibola, the Paderno Park and the Forte Bandiera Park in Monte Donato. The descent takes place for Monte San Vittore.

This is a beautiful bike ride on the hills around Bologna that crosses the woods Boschi di San Luca and Destra Reno. The departure is at Porta San Mamolo in Bologna city center. The route passes through Pieve del Pino, Ancongnano and Paleotto and crosses various parks such as Parco Cavaione. Along the way there are many small towns with pubs and restaurants where one can stop to eat and take a break.
