This route corresponds to the one valid for the Andean Mountain Biking Open in 2010, in Choachí. It is a not very long route, but it is hard, with spectacular landscapes everywhere. The descents are usually more complicated than the ascents and it requires a lot, a lot of technique. Overall, an excellent challenge.

A challenging journey that can take about two days, from Fomeque to Villavicencio: going up to Chingaza, going down to San Juanito, and crossing the Guatiquia Canyon. The exit of the town goes up an uncovered road to the moor at about 3,400m ... that is, a drop of almost 1,600m. After traveling through the moor for a while, you will come to a break in the mountain, from which you can already see the imposing Laguna de Chingaza. Nestled between the mountains, it has incredible natural appeal....
