Maples on Harewood

The Ōtukaikino Track is a shared track in Christchurch used for walking, running, cycling, and dog walking. It's a relatively easy walk/bike ride with nice farmland scenery along the way. This track has multiple access points along the way: Darroch Street Reserve, The Groynes dog park, Clearwater Resort and Roto Kohatu Reserve.

The Isaac Loop is an easy short countryside walk located near Christchurch. The track is quite new (opened in 2017) and can be accessed via the new Otukaikino River bridge, which links it with the Otukaikino walkway. This land is owned by the Isaac Conservation and Wildlife Trust and connects recreational areas such as The Groynes, Clearwater Resort, Roto Kohatu, and the Ecan Walkways within the Waimakariri Recreational Reserve.
