This route takes you to the Croce di Brancoli, in the locality of Gignano di Brancoli, built in 1594 as a sentinel. From here you can admire wonderful views over the Lucca plain, the Apuan Alps, the Middle Serchio Valley, the Apennines and the Tyrrhenian Sea up to the islands of Capraia and Gorgona. In 1944 it was destroyed by the Germans during the World War and then rebuilt, higher and in reinforced concrete, also reusing the stones of the old cross.

This is a pleasant walk in a wood suitable for everyone with arrival at the Oratory of San Graziano, a very small medieval structure. The start is in Tempagnano near the Celetra stream. Along the climb, the path passes through the small Tempagnano Cemetery where there is also the Church of San Prospero.

An excursion near Lucca, starting from Borgo a Mozzano, along a promotional stretch of paved road to leave the village and immediately take the path that begins the climb to Monte Bargiglio, passing through the village of Cune and the church of San Bartholomew. This is a challenging route through a wood with many small streams that starts from Borgo a Mozzano and arrives at Colle di Mummia (927m). The first part of the path climbs rapidly up to Cune (517m) and then becomes a gentler and more gradual climb up to the hill. In Cune you can stop for a food break both on the way out and on the way back.

Excursion departing from Borgo a Mozzano, starting in the direction of Catureglio. Continue passing through Cune and continuing up to the church of San Bartolomeo, and up to Monte Bargiglio. Continue along the Tagliata di S. Cristina until you reach the small church of the Alpini. You return passing through Santa Cristina, La Rocca and Pieve di Cerreto until you reach Borgo a Mozzano.
