This hiking route is located in Piedmont Cévenol Gard, partly in the Cévennes National Park, starting from the village of Tornac, in the Gard department. Along the way, hikers will pass the beautiful castle of Tornac, and the summit of Lacan, 424 meters above sea level, from where one can enjoy a beautiful view of the Gardon plain and the Cévennes.

The GR®61 is a great hike in the Cévennes National Park, from the beautiful little town of Anduze to the Col de l'Asclier. From Anduze you will follow the course of the Gardon d'Anduze, then that of the Gardon de Mialet, through Piedmont Cévenol. Shortly after the village of Mialet, you will turn left towards the small town of Saint-Jean-du-Gard. The route then follows sloping paths through the woods until the arrival at the Col de l'Asclier.

The GR®67: Tour du Pays Cénévol is a hike in segments to be carried out in 5 or 6 days. The trail begins in Anduze in the Gard and takes you on the drailles that wind through the Cévennes National Park. This hike around the Pays Cévenol crosses Lozère and Gard. The trail goes through Saint-Félix-de-Pallières, Vabres, Colognac, Bassurels, L'Hospitalet, Barre-des-Cévennes, Saint-André-de-Lancine and Mialet.

This trail is the first segment of the GR®67, a long hike that goes around the Pays Cénévol in several days. This route begins on the banks of the Gardon d'Anduze river in the charming little town of Anduze and goes to the village of Colognac, crossing Bourguet Forest and passing Redarès Pass.

Departing from the beautiful town of Anduze, this segment of the GR®670 partly follows the course of the Gardon d'Anduze to the confluence with the Gardon d'Alès before continuing to the medieval village of Vézénobres. This segment mainly crosses agricultural landscapes and does not present any particular difficulty. The GR®670, also called the Urban V path, is a long hike that follows the route of the former Pope Urban V.
