A nice tour of the city of Florence, starting from the Campo Marte railway station, the itinerary proceeds in a loop on the quieter right bank of the Arno which houses some of the best historical and artistic finds of the city. The city has a warm and pleasant climate in spring and autumn, in summer it is very hot, so it is advisable to bring plenty of water and a hat.

Features
This is a nice, short walk to Fiesole, mostly on old paths and paved roads. A good opportunity to discover the local history and admire the views of Florence as well as explore the Cava Fratelli Braschi. The characteristic white stones of this quarry were used for all Renaissance architecture such as the Cathedral of Fiesole, many monuments in Florence and for the churches of Brunelleschi. A perfect combination between a cultural trip and immersion in nature without having to leave the city.

A nice bike ride near Fiesole, starting from San Domenico at the Ponte alla Badia. The trail takes place in a loop, partly on the asphalted road and partly on paths, with breathtaking panoramas, crossing the protected area of Montececeri. The only section where caution is needed is south of Castello Vincigliata, where although there are marked paths, there also appears to be an archery range that may be privately owned.
