This trail is intended to be multi-use and is shared by mountain bikers and hikers. For those who wish to extend their hike, there are many other trail connections in the park.

This is a pleasant loop in the Bauer Unit of the Guadalupe River State Park. This area must be accessed via Acker Road. This route starts on the Bamberger Trail and heads east, eventually reaching the Curry Creek Overlook Trail heading north. The trail loops around, linking up with the Golden-cheeked Warbler Trail for a brief section, before returning to the parking area.

This route starts on the northern part of the Bamberger Trail, continues onto the Golden-cheeked Warbler Trail, circles the Little Bluestem Loop, and then returns via a section of the Bauer Trail. If you'd like to extend the trip, you can add the Curry Creek Overlook Trail. This route has great views of the Guadalupe River.
