This pretty mountain biking and hiking route starts in the car park at Place du Jeu de Ballon in Gignac in the Hérault department. This route draws a loop in the heights to the west of the city. It will take you to the summit of Puech Bartelié, which culminates at 366 meters above sea level.

The start of this pretty hiking trail is north of the village of Aumelas in the Hérault department. This route takes you notably to the summit of Mont Nègre. Note that "Nègre" is today a term with a pejorative and racist connotation which means "black" to designate people of the black race. It is no longer used in the common language, but the name of this place remains unchanged for the moment.
