The route begins on the road that goes between Guasca and Guatavita, deviating along a trail that rapidly ascends the mountain, with a hard intensity, especially at the start. After about three steep climbs, you will reach a good viewpoint where you can not only enjoy the view but also see all the roads in the area. With this route, you pass close to the shooting range, so it is recommended to be careful and pay attention as to where not to advance.
