A tour around the town of Haaren, starting from the church and the town hall. You walk along the edges of the town and through 't Eind. The route is entirely on asphalt. Good running route or quiet evening walk.

Discover the areas south of Haaren. A varied trail, where you first visit the 14th century castle Nemerlaer. The castle is located on the river Nemer, which you cross. You also cross the Essche Stroom river. On the south side of the train track you enter the Kampina nature reserve, a beautiful area filled with forests, fens, heaths and rivers. You walk around the river Rosep and Palingven lake. You walk back to Haaren over the dyke Belversedijk.

Starting south of Haaren, you first walk along the Essche stream for a good while. The river takes you to Esch, from where you walk via Tongeren to the edge of the Kampina. Here you can visit the forests, fens and heaths of the nature reserve.

Nice nature walk with a touch of history. After leaving the parking lot you walk into the woods. Here you will soon pass the Beeldven, a small lake. Then you cross the railway (ATTENTION: unguarded railway crossing, cross at your own risk) and the river Essche Stroom, to visit Nemerlaer Castle. Then you walk south again, through the woods and along the babbling brook Rosep. You walk to the Belvers Ven, where you make a round around the lake, from where you are soon back at the starting point.
