This route corresponds to the 2009 Conchucos Expedition event. The return to Callejón de Conchucos I went through the towns of Catac, Chavín, Huantar, Huari, Huachucocha dairy farm, San Luis, Chacas, Yanama, Portachuelo pass, Yanganuco lagoon, Yungay, Carhuaz and Huaraz. The tour went through unique and unforgettable landscapes that demanded good physical condition. The organization included transportation, lodging, and food facilities.

This route is located in the Black Cordillera in the region of Huaraz.
