This is a long cross-country bicycle route which begins in Jerusalem and runs across the country until reaching Kfar Saba Park (ירושלים לכפר סבא). This route runs on multiple busy roads, and caution is advised when biking on highways and freeways.

This great route is best done with a combination of driving and walking, and runs along Nahal Mearot and through multiple sites in the beautiful Carmel (נחל מערות והכרמל) such as: Ahiam Museum, the Etzel Museum in Shuni, Benyamina, through Fureidis junction to the Mearot Caves, Nahal Oren, Hai Bar Carmel, little Switzerland, and finally the memorial to the fallen of the Carmel fire.

This route begins at the Jerusalem Central Station, and proceeds along Jaffa Road, past the Mahne Yehuda Market before ending at the entrance to the City of David (תחנה מרכזית לעיר דוד דרך יפו).

This mixed driving and walking route covers lots of ground as it makes its way from Jerusalem to Avdat (ירושלים לעבדת וממשית) and passes by lots of points of interest such as: Latrun and then straight to Avdat, Bor Huhurim, Khuwar Pitfalls, Halokim Junction and the beautiful Mamshit sites.

The fairly unknown Mei Neftoah (Lifta) Nature Reserve (שמורת ליפתא, נחל שורק ועינות תלם) is less than a 15-minute walk from the Central Bus Station and is ideal for a family hike. At its centre is a pool, surrounded the ruins of Lifta, deep enough for kids to swim in. The nearby Arazim Valley Park in the Arazim Valley has playgrounds and picnic benches.
