The Haskerpaad is a beautiful cycling route around the Frisian lakes. The route goes via cycling junctions. You drive through villages, around lakes and through beautiful wetlands with endless views.

Walk starting at the church of Haskerhorne. On the road you walk in the direction of Oudehaske. This village is located on the lake Nannewiid, surrounded by reed beds. You walk along the banks of the Nannewiid to the Lytse Wiid, a smaller lake that is connected to the Nannewiid via a canal. Here you will pass a beautiful viewpoint. You walk back along canals and over the church path.

De Put van Nederhorst, locally also called "the hole", is a small lake that was created by the sand excavation for the construction of the highway. Now it is a popular recreational lake and swimming lake. With this route you make a circle around the lake, where you also walk over the dike in the middle of the Put van Nederhorst and the Langwaarder Wielen.

Langweerder Wielen is an elongated lake and one of the gems of the Frisian lakes. The lake is connected to the Sneekermeer area. The lake was once too shallow for navigation, so in 2016 it was excavated to a depth of 2.3 meters. The lake is surrounded by green banks and is a popular spot for water recreationists. On windy days you go out with a sailboat, on windless days with a sloop or kayak.

Blue marked trail from Staatsbosbeheer around the Bokslootpolder. The small Frisian polder is surrounded by water. You walk along rivers and pools, to viewpoints over the Goengarijpsterpoelen and the Swettepoel. The polder is filled with meadow birds, and it is a wonderful walk through the wetland area between Sneek and Joure, where you can enjoy beautiful views. You can shorten the route by taking the path in the middle.
