Emerald Necklace Inn Bed and Breakfast

Rocky River Reservation is a nicely kept section of the Cleveland Metroparks system. This walk offers some lovely nature views and occasional wildlife spottings (birds, deer, etc.). The multipurpose trail is easy walking - rated moderate because of the addition of the stair loop (the 135 stairs are worth it for the view, especially in spring and autumn!).

One of the nicest stretches of all-purpose trail in all of the Cleveland Metroparks. Benches throughout, bridle trails scattered in, picnic areas every couple miles, plenty of places to get into the Rocky River from along this route. Great for biking. Paved all purpose trail around the perimeter of the marina. 41 North's kayak launch is along this walk as well. One third of the trail is along the Rocky River where you will see people fishing at all times of the year. This is an all dirt trail that runs along the river for the first half mile before distancing from it. It is a very wide trail for the area. There is a large parking lot, bathrooms, and open fields near the trailhead.

Starts off at Emerald Necklace Marina, passes through Rocky River Reservation, Big Creek Reservation, and Mill Stream Reservation. Beautiful areas along a 100% paved all-purpose trail. Many places to stop for a picnic or relax. Also, plenty of places to fish along the way or cool off in the Cuyahoga River during the summer months.
