Leaving Castel Gandolfo we enter a dense wooded area that runs along the Albano lake, here and there on the path ancient structures emerge, presumably canalizations in opus reticulatum, continuing for about 5 km until it intersects the provincial road. Taking another path in the woods, we continue in the direction of Nemi, a town that rises on the lake of the same name.
