This is a very pleasant walk suitable for everyone almost entirely downhill from Tyrol | Tirol to Merano | Meran. To access the beginning of the walk, take the Merano-Tirolo chairlift. With a small detour the path reaches Castel Fontana | Brunnenburg of the thirteenth century. The castle can be visited with a museum but is closed on Fridays and Saturdays.
