Ca' Gialla

Itinerary on the Euganean Hills, departing from Valbona, near the Castle, proceed towards the exit of the town towards Monte Lozzo. Muddy stretches can be found along the path. The route passes by some interesting points including the caves of the outposts of the Second World War.

This easy walk runs alongside the Canale di Valbona known as Condotto di Valbona. The departure is from the Castle of Valbona which cannot be visited because it is private and is all on a paved road. The city of Este is surpassed by the splendid and unique Atheian paleoanthropological museum. It was recently established (about 30 years ago) after the discovery of the pile-dwelling site of the La Costa pond near Arquà Petrarca (1885-86, 1901 and 1909). This is a pleasant walk suitable for all levels that crosses a chestnut wood and with various panoramic views. Part of the route is on an asphalted and dirt road. Monte Lozzo (324 m) is part of the Eugani Hills chain but is isolated. The Monte Lozzo trail is located in the municipality of Lozzo Atestino in the province of Padua in the Veneto region of Italy.

The path completes the tour of Monte Cinto and leads to admire the famous Buso dei Briganti. A small detour leads to the columnar rhyolite quarry. Particularly interesting route from a geological point of view. The route starts from Cava Bomba near the Geopaleontological Museum and takes place entirely on a path.
